Find something you love, and make it yours.
Customise, modify or recreate a design, heres how it works.
Most people don't start from zero. You've seen a ring you love but want a different stone shape or want to add a feature. Or a design that's close but not quite right. It could also be something you saw online you'd like recreated with better proportions or materials.
The customise pathway takes a starting point and refines it. The process is similar to bespoke but tighter with the focus on getting the details right.
To give you peace of mind when designing your ring. Heres what we offer.
We've developed four clear stages to help customise or recreate your ring so you get exactly what you want without it feeling overwhelming.
Book a 40-minute session, in person at the studio or virtually.
Bring your references — screenshots, links, saved images, whatever you have. The goal is to understand what you like about the design and what you'd change. From that, your design team can give you a realistic estimate on price and timeline.
If you're in the studio, you can try on similar sample rings.
Design consultations are complementary with no obligations.
Outcome: A design brief with price estimates and timelines.
From your brief, the design team builds a 3D model of your ring. You'll see it as a photorealistic render, on a hand, from every angle, with accurate proportions and materials.
From there, it's about refinement. If anything needs adjusting we work through it with you until the design is confirmed.
There's also the option of a 3D-printed model if you want to see how it feels on the hand.
To start design we require a $350 refundable deposit. This is not an additional fee and is taken off the final amount and is refundable if we cannot reach a design you are completely happy with.
Outcome: An agreed, detailed production ready design.
Your design team will recommend stones that suit the design or you can browse the full selection select one yourself if you like. Our material guides go into detail about our recommendations.
Every stone is priced individually, so you'll see the exact cost of the stone and the finished ring before committing.
To confirm a design an 80% deposit is required to purchase the selected materials and move to production.
Outcome: Stones and materials selected with a final fixed price.
Once production is confirmed, your ring goes into the queue, and you'll receive an estimated completion date upfront.
We guarantee production within 8 weeks. If you would like it earlier, you can pay a rush fee. You can read more about timelines and rush orders here.
Once the ring is finished and has passed a final quality checks, you can collect it from the studio or have it delivered.
The final payment is due on completion.
Every one of these started as a reference. Here's what they became.

If you're adjusting a collection design, the base price stays the same as the collection piece, and you only pay for the additional materials or labour the changes need.
If you're recreating a ring you've seen elsewhere, it's priced the same way as everything else: the design, the stone, and the materials. Either way, you'll see the full cost before you commit to anything.
Design typically takes 1–2 weeks. Production takes up to 8 weeks. Most customise projects are finished within 10 weeks from first conversation to finished ring.
If you're working to a deadline, expedited production is available for an additional fee.
The $350 design deposit is fully refundable. You're not committed to anything until you've approved the design and chosen your stone. If at any point it's not right, you can walk away.
Yes, if it's not a very specific design or a signature design from another designer. We'll let you know if that is the case.
Bring us your references – photos, screenshots, links – whatever you have and the design team will work with you to recreate or adapt it.
There's plenty of room for adjustments within the customise process — things like changing the stone shape, adjusting band width, adding a hidden halo or pavé, swapping details, or adjusting proportions. If you have a strong visual or verbal reference for what you want, it's likely a customise project.
If the changes are significant enough that it becomes a new design, it moves into the bespoke process.
Yes a minimum spend of NZ$2,000 is required either individually or in aggregate (multiple items totalling to $2,000).
Customise starts with an existing design and refines it: straight to a 3D model, no concept sketches. Bespoke starts from scratch with the full creative process. If you already have a strong starting point, customise is the faster route.
Yes. The customise process works for wedding bands, necklaces, earrings, and other fine jewellery. The same process applies.
